El Camino was our 1st reticulation system where we reticulated about 40% of the airstream to reduce duct and fan size requirements.

This was due to the restaurant being a refit of an existing ground floor coffee shop in a 5 story building.

The new Mexican cuisine required over 1,000MJ of cooking power.

​

If we opted for a traditional AS1668 solution we would have had to install larger ducts and a fire rated tube through multiple tenancies on the way to the roof.

​

The reticulation solution solved this and reduced the overall base build of cost of the project by over $200,000 and reduced the construction timeline by many months – a great result all around.
